Welcome to my world where the political clashes with the personal & manifests in the creative.
I’m a truth-seeker on a lifelong quest traveling through foreign lands ~ Russia, Europe, the Middle East, and Turkey to explore, discover and, try to understand. Whether working on the docks with the Longshoremen or assisting with Gorbachev’s visit to Boston, I’m a do-for-myself kind of person.
As a child, I had an insatiable need to know why?
“Why, Why, Why?” I asked.
“Why is a fish?” my grandfather answered.
“Why is a fish, Grandpa?”
“Because a porkchop can’t swim!”
Of course, that answer only piqued my curiosity & my tolerance for sarcasm.
On most days, I am just trying to keep my head from exploding & put words on the page.
